KAZUISTIKA Metformin‑asociovaná laktátová acidóza 442 | VNITŘNÍ LÉKAŘSTVÍ / Vnitř Lék 2020; 66(7): 438–442 /  www.casopisvnitrnilekarstvi.cz Závěr V obou př padech námi prezentovaných kazuistik nebyla zji těna jiná př čina těžké laktátové acidózy než metformin. U obou pacien- tek do lo k rozvoji laktátové acidózy v důsledku dehydratace, která vedla k rozvoji akutn ho renáln ho selhán . Vzhledem k tomu, že jde o komplikaci spojenou s vysokou mortalitou, je zásadn prevence. Ta spoč vá zejména v znalosti kontraindikac a rizikových faktorů už ván metforminu. LITERATURA 1.
